From one "American Idol" to the next: After a string of visits from "Idol" winners past — as well as this week's head-spinning Lady Gaga performance — the "Idol" stage will be graced by none other than Miley Cyrus on April 15.
While "Idol" has not yet announced the appearance, Cyrus revealed on her Web site on Thursday that she had just pre-taped the performance of her new single, "The Climb," for air in two weeks.
It's a small world when you're a teen pop star, so it was only a matter of time before former flames Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas were reunited, in the studio at least.
The 16-year-old singers, who broke up at the end of 2007 after two years together, will be stuck in the same room this weekend to make the star-studded video for new track “Pass It On”.
Miley Cyrus has been quoted saying in a recent interview that she does not want to work in a sequel of Hannah Montana. The teen said that she feels one film adaptation is enough for her popular TV character.
Last year, candid photographs of Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus were posted on the internet after a hacker broke into her email. Now it seems she's been hacked again - but this time it's her Twitter account that has been compromised.
It appears that Miley, daughter of "Achy breaky heart" legend Billy Ray Cyrus, wasn't taking enough care over her password security as someone was able to break into her Twitter account and peppered the page with a number of poorly-spelt offensive messages.
The staff at Twitter appear to have responded quickly to the defacement, and shut down Miley Cyrus's Twitter page.
"This is just the latest hacking incident to happen on Twitter and chances are it's not going to be the last," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos.
"Cybercriminals are only ever one step behind the latest computer craze and as tweeting has been growing in popularity, the hackers have been quick to realise the potential in hacking these accounts."
"It appears that Miley didn't learn the lesson last year and hasn't been taking enough care over her password security," Cluely added in reference to an incident last year when hackers broke into her email account and stole photographs of the star, which were later posted on the web.
